莊志維

1986年生於臺灣。

畢業於臺北藝術大學新媒體藝術研究所和交通大學建築所，

具有視覺設計、裝置藝術與建築等跨領域多元背景。

在個人創作中擅長運用光和媒材特性創造空間裝置，探討人與人、環境之間的相互關係；

同時持續不斷探索跨領域的融合，

作品呈現理性與感性並存的藝術美學。

曾獲選至東京Tokyo Wonder Site創作駐村，

並擔任2019-2020年臺中國家歌劇院的駐館藝術家。

作品曾獲2013高雄獎、2015年臺北美術獎，

於同年入選臺北數位藝術獎、

2016文化部 Made In Taiwan ─新人推薦特區、2019台北設計獎，

並受邀參加釜山市立美術館、台灣美術雙年展、

韓國平昌雙年展、東京六本木之夜和ACC亞洲文化殿堂等展出。

在跨領界合作中，

與勤美術館、勤美學、沛納海(Panerai)、賓士(Mercedes-Benz)、銀座資生堂(Shiseido The Store)等品牌合作發表藝術作品，

展現其多元的創作風格和創新的思維。

曾被選為《Taiwan Tatler》雜誌的Generation T新銳和《Shopping Design》的年度創作職人。

目前擔任台北藝術大學新媒體藝術系兼任講師。

Born in Taichung, Taiwan in 1986,Chuang Chih-Wei holds an M.S. in Science in Architecture from Chiao Tung University and an MFA in New Media Art from Taipei National University of the Arts.

With his training in fine arts and architecture, Chuang excels in creating interactive installations with light and space, which address the relationship between human beings and the environment. Exploring possibilities in cross-disciplinary methodology with an aesthetics that emphasizes both rationality and sensibility has always been a central feature to his works.

 Chuang was one of the artists showcased in "Made in Taiwan- Emerging Artists Section" by the Ministry of Culture in 2016. He was awarded an Honorable Mention in Taipei Arts Award and was one of the artists selected to take part at Digital Art Festival Taipei in 2015; in addition, he has also been invited to the Pyeong Chang Biennale, Asian Contemporary Art Exhibition(Busan), Asia Culture Center(Gwangju), Taiwan Biennial(Taichung), Roppongi Art Night (Tokyo) and The Avant/Garde Diaries Taipei by Mercedes-Benz.
